I’m currently looking for some assistance on determining the appropriate sample size from a population of 150 associates. We’re currently in the process of surveying our associates on satisfaction with the company and would like to make sure that we have the appropriate representation from the group. Can anyone advise me on calculating the sample size based on a population of 150?
We’re looking to make a difference of 9% and we’re unaware of the std. deviation for the population.
Thanks!0February 27, 2004 at 3:47 am #58022With a 95% confidence level, and +/- 5% error, your looking at a sample size of about 108.
