    Hi all,

I am writing a thesis on how to successfully implement the AS9100 Rev D standard for product safety. I am struggling in finding primary sources on this topic for my paper. If you have any tips to make this easier, please do share. I would really appreciate it :)

    Thank you.

@julesbhd This may sound rude but it is a thesis. You need to do research.

As far as implementing AS9100 RevD why would it be any different than any other standard. Someone writes a standard, you agree to work to that standard so you implement it. Why would AS9100 be any different than anything else. If you ask someone who consults in this can probably give you 50 reasons why they are different. They are not. It is how do I comply to a set of rules? Nothing more complicated than that.

    Just my opinion.

@mike-carnell Thanks for the response. I have been doing research and have been struggling to find primary sources for my thesis, that is why I am here to seek some guidance on how/where to look for primary sources more efficiently. My professor also suggested that I post the question in an isixsigma forum to get some feedback as this would be a good place to start. I am not trying to find out how implementing the AS9100D is different from any other standard… but more like how to develop an effective product safety program based on the AS9100D principles to comply to this standard.

@julesbhd If you want to understand implementing a safety program please email me off line at [email protected] and I will connect you with a person who can get you where you need to go.
