    Hi all,

Thank you for letting me be part of your community. I’m an operations manager in healthcare. I want to beef up my skills and become more valuable so I decided to pursue my Green Belt.

I bought the LSSGB elearning course from ASQ along with the CSSGB Primer from the Quality Council of Indiana. Will these two resources adequately prepare me for the ASQ Green Belt exam? Are there any other resources or suggestions you can give me?

Also, I am very new in my current role and do not have a lot of experience. I am hoping that I can learn new skills and leverage them to make a strong impact. I’m just concerned that I may be not be able to deploy what I learn into real work scenarios from these two resources. I would love your feedback.

    Thank you!

Wanting to beef up your skills to become more valuable is the right attitude. You chose two very good resources. Will studying them be sufficient to pass the GB exam? If you have a good basic understanding of statistics and business processes, it might be. You might consider a practice exam which you can get from several sources, or take the official exam. There’s no penalty for failing and it’ll give you a good idea how much more you need to learn.
