Assessing Green Belt skills with a competency tool

Hello Six Sigma community,Has anyone experienced legal issues regarding the use of an
assessment tool to select Green Belt candidates internally? And do
you use an assessment tool to select Green Belt candidates?We are concerned that the use of this tool may be seen as a
“discriminatory” practice across the firm. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

I am not aware of assessment tools to select GBs. However, I can not understand how it would be ‘discriminatory’? If you do not find your best people, you may lose out from the starting gate. This is like any job where you have specific requirements for the position and the best candidate gets the job.
