How can we baseline a 5s? and 5s in different areas?
I working on a Oil Platform.

Andre0October 10, 2008 at 8:13 am #176633You can baseline it by using audit score which is performed before improvement. And the same audit will be used after improvement to assess the achievement. But you have to ensure that the auditors are qualified.
0October 14, 2008 at 11:33 pm #176721Andre, You could use a simple survey or measure down time as people search for equipment or retrieve it from a distant location but the figures and graphs will mean very little in comparison to taking photographs before the 5S for your baseline and after photographs to show improvement.
