    Hi everyone,
I am a relatively new Black Belt working in the healthcare industry.  I am looking for salary information – new Black Belts vs. experienced Black Belts.  Does anyone know of any “Industry Standards” or information I could find on the web?

There is a SS salary survey available on this site.

I was not able to find anything other than the packet that is available to purchase for $9.95.  Is there anything else out there, that anyone knows of?

Just pull up a sample of jobs listed on this site for a given area and see the range. It is app. 65K to 120K, depending on experience and location.

    BB Salary in Healtcare

The salaries for BB’s in Healthcare are lower than in most other industries. In a typical hospital setting you can see salaries between 60K and 90Ks for BB’s (this may or may not include a bonus of between 10 – 15%) and 80K to 110K for MBB’s (this may or may also not include a bonus which could be up to 30% of the base salary). Larger organizations such as Quest have Managing MBB positions that can get you into the 150 – 170K range. I hope this helps.

The black belts at our healthcare organization, which includes 2 hospitals, 3 nursing homes, several physician offices, etc., make between $50,000 and $70,000 per year. Salary is based on experience and cost of living in our part of the country is relatively low. I think you’ll likely find that healthcare BB’s make a little less than their counterparts in other industries, but the rewards are also different. Hope this helps.
