I believe that the most important negatives of this Forum are:
*Answering questions… with limited knowledge
*Exchanging experience and knowledge…. finding support networks of limited knowledge
*Building synergy… ever see a team of posters on the attack
With that said and after observations of recent George (I-IV) posts, I am playing devils advocate here. Blogs and IM can be treacherous territory if one speaks before he thinks, attacks (or advises) OR before giving good advice. Now the Pro of this Con is speaking anonymously learning from it an growing in knowledge safely with the fighting gloves off, knowing that the bruises go away when the post is over.
Reading between the lines even in sarcastic posts can allow one to gain knowledge as well. Con, you never (almost never) know what the agenda is of a poster or even if a poster is the true poster. Just figured I would share some IT human factors knowledge which was my agenda and I am the real HF. And yes I have enjoyed and learned from this site, met good people, and had debates when stuck on the road
