How do you calculate Rolled Throughput Yield when you have parallel processes feeding into an assembly area?
    Thanks,  Doug

I am sure there are several ways to do this, however, my method would be to define your process with a specific start point and end point.
It is acceptable to break a large process down into several sub-processes. The simply collect the data from each sub-process calculate the first pass yield of each sub-process and then multiply these together to determine the throuput yield.

If you truly have parallel processes, using the lower yield value should give a more realistic picture of RTY as opposed to using the higher yield process.

RTY = e raised to -dpu
go capture dpu and you have RTY
