Why would HR need it’s own area? The methodology doesn’t change although I am sure you can find someone who would be willing to write some niche book about LSS for HR.
What amazes me about HR is they are constantly on these various sites asking for project ideas. One of the two fastest growing areas for attorneys in Labor law. A law suit is the result of a defect – how hard is it to create projects that have a current state of what your system is and the furture state being in compliance with the multitude of legal requirements.
HR doesn’t need their own area they just need to contribute.
Just my opinion.
