I got introduced to Six Sigma when I was working for a company that provided engineering services to GE Power Systems. I am very much interested in Six Sigma and would like to make a career out of it. Is there a MBA or some such program that an individual can seek? So far I have come across many of the website including this one offering training in SS to a company. Unfortunately my present employer will not invest in SS training.
Any guidance appreciated.0April 3, 2003 at 8:50 pm #84501
Look at the event calendar on this site…it lists almost every training course available in the world. Find one close to you geographically and see if it is reasonably priced. Look for the 4 week BB training course as they are the best, in my opinion.0April 4, 2003 at 5:55 am #84519
I’m very much interested in the aspect of learning Six Sigma. But I dont have proper guidance in this. I;m residing in India and I have learned that only very few institutes (may be one or 2 also) provide training on that. I would like to begin with Green Belt certification. If you have come across please let me know.

Qimpro College in Mumbai provides the training but have to work on live Projects to have a real learning on Six sigma principles.
business shool teaches the statistical tools and tecniques but the DMAIC and DFSS rigor provides a robust methodology to take data driven decesions and make improvements.
