I work in a highly regulated healthcare environment where new employees are required to go through initial training and then periodic competency training as well.  The training occurs, however we have difficulty tracking and verifying training due to many different departments tracking and validating differently.  Does anyone have case studies on this type of problem they can share?

ClaudiaC, Hello!Health care is indeed highly regulated; so are many other industries, including financial services. Many of the these other industies require initial training and periodic competency training, also. E-learning is ideal for new employees.  The training is always consistent and automatic reporting makes tracking progress easy.  It gives a great baseline and allows experts to later fill in any gaps in understanding.

    Claudiac:
Wondering which particular positions you are examining?  Additionally, are you in the U.S.?  This will help me provide information regarding onbaording, trainng and tracking.  You also may want to post the same question on the healthcare forum fro this site.
