    Hello,
I am in the early stages of a large project that will invlove a considerable amount of process change, re-alignment and possilbe BPM/R.
My question is: is there a formula / template that can assist in planning for adequate resource / justification for additional resource?
Apologies if this is a simplistic question but it would be rather helpful if anyone has any tips
    Many thanks

Change is difficult to apply and manage or even monitor without first establishing the capability, capacity and maturity of the recipients of change (and this includes stakeholders!)
I would suggest that you review these in line ith the HR function.

    Hi Chapper
Yo ca use the tushman organisational congruence model which uses identifies the six change dimensions at a business level. Or, alternaticvely you can use the TQM dead turtle model which illustrates the change dimensions at a process transaction level.

To start with you could use a business process modelling tools such as Mood which utilises context mapping as well systems and cognitive mapping to identify the multiple views and required capabilities. IT tools and BPM tools are not musch use for busniess process mapping. Again you could    use systems dynamics for process modelling

Are you using MS Project? There are some built-in templates for use, including resource planning. Of course, the software only provides you a platform, how much the resource is actually needed will be up to your judgement. Since each Change Management itself can be a big project, what existing tool that you are using now to help your effective and efficient management?
