    Hi:
I have pre coaching & post coaching data of no. of Yes, No & NA in call quality attributes. Can I use the chi square test, with the hypothesis being that any change in no. of Yes, No or NA is independent of coaching?
    Please help.

The Chi square will tell you whether there is any statistical difference between the proportion of Yes, No and N/A as a function of coaching. Be sure you have enough counts of each if you are analyzing in Minitab. She will give a nasty message if the expected count falls below 5.

    Vivek,
Darth is correct. Usining Minitab for Chi Square for first time can be a challenge so feel free to e-mail me at sbonacorsi @ comcast.net and I’ll send you a tool time I built on using chi square. Of course, if others could benefit, send me your request.

Yes, I did retire to my condo on SoBe.  But only until my condo in Panama is ready.  Then I can go back and forth between the two residences.  Thought I would just drop in and see what was going on at isicksigma.com.  Looks like some of the old crowd has also retired from the site.  Current posters seem to be exhibiting more civility except of course Stan.  He is still mean and cynical.  Makes ya kinda yearn for the old days.

    DD,
Just sent you the presentation and the practice data set that goes with the material. It assumes your using Minitab.
Let me know if any questions,
    Warm Regards,
