I recently completed 3 Six Sigma projects successfully and was certified little while ago. My contract with my company stated that I would get the portion of savings for 5 years or life of the program whichever came first. Now they are backtracking and only want to pay for 2 years. Can a company do this and go back on their own signed contract if I don’t agree?

    Concerned,
If you have a signed contract from the company, then you might want to talk with a lawyer rather than with this forum.

But you might want to start checking the job board on this web site.  If you question their decision, just be sure to have the next job lined up.
I’d suck it up to experience and move on.  You got a bonus for 2 years, great.   I’ve never heard of a company giving you a cut of the savings; bonuses: yes, based on savings: kind of sort of.

Unfortunatly companies  can  do whatever  they  like? You  have  little  chance  to  win  this  case,as  they  can  manipulate….

Concerned,Dale’s advice is very sound advice — take it. And, be very happy with 2 years worth of savings — that’s actually an incredibly generous situation to be in.Best regards, QualityColorado
