    Have a question for this forum… When testing torque values for the purpose of “qualifying” the guns to stay within a certain spec limit.. which chart is better to use imr of xbar&r?

    Hi,

    I don’t think IMR will solve the purpose in this case. X bar R or X bar S should be used.
    For example, if you the data for gun shots fired every hour, you can use X bar R or S depending on the subgroup size taking hours as the X axis
