Can anyone point me to a web site that describes the capability of a statistical software called Cornerstone?
Who makes it? Do they have a web site?
I currently use MINITAB, and have an engineer who is all excited about Cornerstone. A few years ago I looked at it and didn’t seen anything that excited me.
Searches using Google and Excite provide some information, but I can’t seem to find an “official” web page.

Cornerstone was a product by BBN Software out of Cambridge Mass.ย  My old company used this extensively for Design of Experiments (DOE).ย
BBN’s other product was a base statistical tool called RS1 Discover.ย  These programs are much more advanced than Minitab, but the cost is also about 3 to 5 times.ย  You get what you pay for however.ย
I also looked on the web but could not find a site, although I did get some hits on BBN Software.ย  It looks like they were bought out by someone.ย ย
If you are looking to take the next step in specific statistical analysis like descriptive stats and ANOVA and DOE, then Cornerstone is probably the product.ย  My guess is however, that Cornerstone will not have all of the Black Belt tools you will need such as MSA and control chart functions.ย  It will be interesting to see.ย
Let me know what you find.ย
