Can we use a DOE project to help reduce the costs in a company?

Could  you  elaborate  more?I  advise you to  read  a  good  book, which  explains this matter .”Leaning Into  SS “by  Mike Carnell.

The purpose of a DOE is to provide maximum information for minimum effort.  The end result of a DOE is usually the discovery of something about the process that allows you to make things better, cheaper, faster, safer, etc.  Usually any one or any combination of these will lead to a reduction in costs.
I realize this is a very general answer but then so was the question.  As has been noted – if you could provide more details I’m sure someone on this forum will be willing to provide more specifics.

I know the answers have been general but they have helped a lot. I’ve just read the first pages of “Leaning into Six Sigma”. I’ll buy the book. It seems to be very helpful.
If a DOE can help me make a process cheaper, faster and safer, that’s exactly what I’m looking for.
    Thanks for the answers.
