Can anybody explain that when cpk = 0 and cp = 1 the upper spec lim = at the mean and when cpk = -1 the upper spec lim = left of the mean? For a bell curved distr.
I understand that when tey are both 1 the bell curve is right in between the upper and lower spec lim’s.

With a Cp of 1 and a Cpk of 0, your mean is either on the USL or the LSL. With a negative Cpk, your mean is outside of one or the other limits. It doesn’t matter which one, the number wont change if its the USL or the LSL.
