Can anybody explain Cpk (Process Capability) from Sig Sigma POV? The standard value for Cpk is 1.33. What does it mean. Does it relates to the amount of defect (eg. 30 ppm)? Thanks. -Jusuf-

Cpk of 1.33 is saying that a process is capable to produce 3.4 defects per million or a yield of 99.9997%.
Cpk is a measure of spread and centering of the data relative to the specification limits defined
