I’m noticing that GB training is down to a week (don’t even get me going on on-line), is that the new industry standard?

Come on Stevo, you know that can’t be what the legit guys are doing. The good news is that help has finally arrived and a credible organization has stepped forward to save the day. This was mentioned in a thread a while back. It is even more timely now that you raise the issue. What do ya’ll think of the Linkedin post below?International Association for Six Sigma Certification
Finally after over 20 years without a centralized body establishing standards for a Universally Accepted Lean Six Sigma Body of Knowledge IASSC has stepped up to the task for the Black Belt and Green Belt community. Lean Six Sigma is being taken out of the mire and is now on a path to professionalism. Visit http://iassc.org to begin the journey.

hbgb:  That’s indicative of an organization interested in measuring numbers of certs, not in actual improvement.  Sad to say, too much of american business suffers thusly.  Even the vaunted moto and genelec have suffered from this.  Probably have also eliminated any written exams as well, is my guess.

btw – I understand that we have a common acquaintance and that you’d be a good one to have protecting your back in a bar fight.
