HiI would like your input as how to tackle a project where the problem is dimensions of a part, that is width,length and thicknes variation,above or below specification.How should I apply the Measure tool?
What should I look into as data collection?I guess my question is where to satrt, what factors should I look into firts, the final assembled product or the parts in wip?Also should I consider what causes the variation as shift, people, tools, machines, etc?Or Should I start the “Measure phase” directly by going into the machines capabilities?Any comments suggestions will be appreciated.Thanks.
