    Looking for examples and / or tools that people have used to eliminate the # of document / forms within a organization. Actual project or case study examples would be nice…Thanks!

    5s is the simplest method – examples were 5s servers which reduced
    expenditure with IBM and saved >$250k.$250k.$250k.Classical swim lane diagrams are also very useful when combined
    with “value added” screening criteria.Adam

    Juran did something like that way back in WWII. He built a table (we can do it in a spread sheet). Each row identified a specific form of some sort. Each column represented a specific item of data that was entered in order to fill in the form. By entering a “X” on the cell where a data field goes onto a form, you can rapidly build up a visual display of redundant clusters.
