In 2004, I will be evaluating whether or not DFSS and/or Lean methodologies can/should be applied within my company.  We are a large-scale financial services company and have a successful Six Sigma program centered primarily around Dashboards and the DMAIC Methodology.
Can anyone provide me any guidance or point me to any publications detailing “how” I could evaluate whether or not these methodologies are worth persuing?
    Your candid feedback is appreciated.

There is a guy by the name of Rob Tripp who has a lot of experience with Six Sigma in banking and finance.  Fannie-May & JP Morgan, Heller Financial, among others.  He can be reached at r.b.tripp@att.net

    Bill:
I just completed consulting with a financial industry company.  Lean methodologies are not in conflict with your direction.  Many consultants do both.  DFSS has application also.  If you have strongg MBBs they should be able to identify applications.
