Need some help on a problem. I’m not sure my calculations are right.
Wanting to know if whether a passage of time is an indication of increases in earnings.
Year Earnings (hundred Thousands)$700
$600
$700
$400
$600
$300
$600
$400
Can you determine an increase of earnings over time?
Can you provide the earnings for years 9-14?
What is the Y-Intercept?
What is the slope of the trend line?
I tried using Microsoft Excel regression anaylsis and want to make sure my calculation are right. If you can show me answers and calculation that you received it would be appreciated.
Thanks!0June 10, 2007 at 11:33 pm #157233A simple plot of your data and a straight edged regression should answer all of your questions.
