Motorola, J.P. Morgan Chase, and Citgroup as well.  I think Citigroup is Six Sigma lite.  Some large insurance companies are in the beginning stages of this as well.
Six Sigma Lite emphasizes a lesser degree of statistical tools (ANOVA, chi-square tests, hypothesis testing, non-parametric tests) when problem solving.

I am pretty cretain that America Express used the methodology at one point.  I am not certain what there current state of deployment is.

The key issue is: do they know what they are getting into with 6S? 6S has become the new TQM slogan. I know of one company which is going after MBBs, etc. when they can’t even get their simple stuff straight. You have to crawl before you walk before you run. According to the US Census, there are about 135,000 companies in Colorado and here’s the breakout:

    > 500 employees = 269
    99-499 employees = 2500
    20-99 employees = 17,000
    500 employees = 269
    99-499 employees = 2500
    20-99 employees = 17,000
    500 employees = 269
    99-499 employees = 2500
    20-99 employees = 17,000
< 20 employees = 114,000How many companies will do 6S now that can afford it?Start small, then work up to 6S.
