How  to  improve  the  yield  for  the  following DOE:
Exp.  T   P    C    Yield
2       +    –    –       77
3       –    +    –       47
5      –     –     +       56
8      +    +     +      73
What do  you  suggest  to to  modify  this  experiment, regarding   Temp., Pressure and  Cncentration.
Please  give  me some useful  hints and  avoid to  blame  me for  not  knowing  what  to  do?thanks  and  regards

Thank You for  the  reply. No,it  is  only  an  exercise just  to grasp  the  concept.

Put your temp at the high level and put P and C at whatever is the most economical.
The way to look at this is to remember that with designs you are looking at the differences in the average responses of the high and the low settings.  For T the two + settings are 77 and 73 whereas the two – settings are 47 and 56.  For P and C the two plus settings are, respectively 47, 73 and 56, 73 and the two minus settings are, respectively, 56,77 and 77,47.  If you take the averages then the only variable that results in any kind of a large average for Yield is T.
By the way, unless you have experiments 1,4,6,and 7 which you didn’t tell us about then this isn’t a full factorial design.
