Help! I am new at this stuff. I am trying to take the issue of best fitting probability distributions out of the ether and make it real. Please give me some insights as to the relative merits of the Correlation Coefficiant vs. the Anderson Darling result when trying to fit a curve to data that I have not seen previously…..I am trying to understand if I can simply take either the highest Corr. Coefficiant or AD result and “call it done” in terms of having identified the distribution that is in place. Any help would be appreciated!!!!!!! Thx
