Is it enough for GR&R with Attributive data to use 2 only appraiser ?
Is there any formula combination that says for 3 appraiser minimum parts is X and for 2 appraiser minimum parts is Y (where Y > X)’ may be using 4 appraiser and what will be the reputability # that will require for each on of them ?

I don’t recommend using GR&R with attribute (discrete) data. Think about it. A gauge gives fractional measurements but your measurements are not fractional. You still need to do MSA but there are more appropriate statistical tools such as kappa technique.

Avinoam – If you have attribute data (it is a judgment not a measurement) then you are conducting an attribute agreement study. I suggest you search for and study how to conduct this type of examination.
