I noticed something in a book today:”Beijing – Eighteen factory workers were executed today for poor product quality at Chien Bien Refridgerator Factory on the outskirts of the Chinese capital.”(Wall Street Journall, Oct. 1989.)Hopefully, their approach to quality has improved over the years!

Yes – They are executing higher up the chain – BEIJING, July 10 — China executed its former top food and drug regulator on Tuesday for taking bribes to approve untested medicine, as the Beijing leadership scrambled to show that it was serious about improving the safety of Chinese products.

What exactly does your title have to do with the excerpt you posted?
    NOTHING…
If you really want to know if 6S has saved lives, I can tell you 1st hand that it has.   While still in uniform and in a command position, I used 6S and Lean to ready my unit for eventual deployment.   Among other things, the team created a defensive/offensive driver cert course which focused on VBIED/IED response (‘shoot and scoot”), QRF and counter-ambush response.    I am happy to report that all deployed Soldiers returned safely and are gearing for a return trip to the sand box.
In deference to OPSEC, I have not and will not divulge any unit sensitive data.

Just think if we did this with our politicians if they acted in their own self interest and started wars to benefit companies.
