AnnetteParticipant@AnnetteInclude @Annette in your post and this person will
be notified via email.I was wondering if any of youc an share any work design for a HIM Assembly&Analysis work space. We still have paper charts but ready to begin electronic med rec system in the next year. $$ are limited for space improvements. Trying to do a single flow instead of the batching they do now but cubical design isn’t the greatest and they are really not liking idea of table space in L or U shapes. Suggestions?

U-shaped work cells are my personal preference as they enhance communication, eliminate unnecessary handling, provide great visibility and efficient material handling. So why not take the approach of leading a session on defining the CTQ’s for the new layout and working through the exercises of cause and effect, critical x’s and so on to come to a conclusion on what the new layout should be?
Good luck!0 -
