    Hi all,
I am doing LSS consulting work for companies. I
like to know if anyone has come across a method to
prepare a successful SS proposal.Good inputs are appreciated.
    Thanks.

You say you are doing LSS consulting work for companies yet have no idea how to prepare a successful proposal!!!! The best input I can give you is to immediately leave the profession so you don’t make yourself and the rest of the profession look like idiots.

Maybe if we had a little background on you and exactly what makes you qualified to do LSS consulting. How did you get the current business that you say you are doing? Why do you think you are currently not as effective as you should be? Since the client usually uses two criteria when buying consulting services, it would help us better understand how to make your presentations more effective. The client will buy if they have complete trust in your credentials, knowledge, experience and competency. How do you sell that now? Secondly, they will base their decision on what you have accomplished in other engagements. How are you currently positioning that?

Darth,Thank you for your input.I come with a total of five year constant LSS
study/research including one year of disciplined
University education and Certified BB. I come with
three and half years of Operations Management and
Consulting experience. I am focusing on small
businesses but soon I need to tap into projects that
return greater results. I am starting to gather
information on how to approach the new territory.
So, I figured this would be a good place to ask for
    some help.Thank you,
    Shafi

John,We read books to find answers to particular
questions we have. We also read books to gain
better understanding of particular things. And
sometimes we read books to help us do our homework.
Does it mean the books are doing the homework for
us?Thoughtful discussions can add value to someone
    seeking answers to real questions.
    Thanks,
    Shafi
