CQI primer is good. However, it did not help me. I failed the exam. Now I will retake the exam in March. I was busted not because I was not prepared but of time. It takes a lot of time to understand the poblem and find the solution. Some questions are straight forward but overall, this is a tough exam and hard to pass. But it does not mean that you are a weak BB. Statistics take time. More time your spend to understand the situation, more thought comes to your mind to apply the knowledge.
I am struggling how to prepare for the 2nd attempt. If I fail again, i will give up forever. I believe my knowledge is perfect but to pass the exam you need a techinique to tackle the multiple choice test.
    Good Luck

It’s so difficult to pass ASQ BB exam? I beg to differ if you can understand the basic and fundamental concepts for BB subject matters.
Only two questions (Taguchi and Latin square) I had to spot for their answers and hope some lady luck to get them right. All the rest shall be within 95 to 100% confidence level to get their right answers.

    Riaz,
The test simulation software that QCI offers may help…  It has similar questions to those found on the test and times your responses.
It also provides a results summary showing those areas in the BOK where your responses are weakest….
    Hope this helps…

    My experience:
I studied in Argentina with the following books (I got them by Internet), and I passed the exam. Of course I had to see some other books, but this were the most important. (I had to say I already had some statistical background)
    – CSSBB Primer (Quality Council of Indiana)
    – The Six Sigma Handbook
    – Implementing Six Sigma
    – Design and Analisys of Experiments (Montgomery)
    Regards
