Hi,
I have two suppliers A and B and I need to qualify them based on some samples I have. I have three categories of components, two of them coming from Supplier A (one is an improvement of the old component)and the third coming from Supplier B.All the three have same functionality.
The test is destructive and I have a sample size of 29 each for the three categories. The result of the test would be in terms of Pass/Fail criteria.
What test do I need to statistically determine if one supplier is better than the other. I was thinking of two sample proportion test but I have three different categories.
Any help on this would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

You could use a chi-squared test
