Just wondering whether its possible to display the flowchart somehow in this forum instead of sending it to so many people?

Forum Participants – I have received a copy of the hypothesis testing flowchart and accompanying Excel templates distributed by Mr. Shelor.  The materials are owned and licensed by MoreSteam.com LLC, and distribution of them is unauthorized.  These materials are not to be further distributed or published either on iSixSigma.com or elsewhere.  If you have any further questions, please contact me directly.

This seems a good time to remind those who post on iSixSigma.com forums that while helping others is a noble cause, we must all be careful not to provide help that includes copyrighted works of others. Putting someone else’s point of view (a co-worker, mentor, author or teacher) into our own words is just fine. Pointing someone toward a book or an article or a person to contact is great. However, supplying copies of forms, templates or written materials owned by another person or a company is definitely not acceptable, not to mention illegal.

I have stopped supplying the Hypothesis Test Flow Chart.
I made a mistake in thinking an Excel spread sheet was not software.
I looked up the rules and Excel spreadsheets containing macros are considered software.
In addition, I will not distribute any material I received when I took the MoreSteam.com COI.
    My apologies to all.

    Frank,
I provided a copy of my copyrighted material to this thread last Friday. I followed the instructions on this site. Is there a reason it was not posted?

    Jim,
You told people you went to U of M!
And now you are distributing copyrighted material!

    Heebeebeegee,
Please note that I changed my name from Allthingsidiot to Allthingsidiot (O)??? This is due to the natural progression of my intellectual capacities over the course of my posting on this site??? As a result, I am not the simple Allthingsidiot any more. I am Allthingsidiot (O). O stands for original … quite clever, hm??? Thanks for your cooperation???

    Perhaps application of:

    the 2E-1M principle
an end to the use of multiple names (in violation of the TOS)
    is called for?
Or at least stop pretending to be other posters to support your views???

If you use Minitab, they have a chart for hypothesis tests in the help files. I have found it useful in the past.

Allthingsidiots: O, Darth, Hebeebeegee BB (ever so masculine and threatening … NOT), BritW (ever so professional, serious and well-informed about the most trivial of all things), Stan, Mike, Jim Shelor etc. and the jerk about the same old worn out topics goes on and on and on … ). The Allthingsidiot experts will probably have the same old, wornout debates in their retirement homes. Keep up the cutting edge discussions about the real-world business world! Allthingsidiot, I have to give that to you: You nailed these guys big time :-))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
