I am sorry to bear bad tidings. Please don’t take this as an attack on you personally, because you personally are doing nothing wrong. However, your bosses…
The fact that they delegate what they should own and operate indiates that they want results without personal investment. It doesn’t work that way. Good six sigma impementations demand that top leaders personally invest the time, effort, and the right balance between urgency to act vs patience for outcomes to develop. It does not sound like your leadership is anywhere near ready for the real thing.
On the other hand, they should have no trouble finding a consultant who will take their money and give them something shiny but worthless.

Deploying SS is not a one man army task. You leadership should get to know what it is. Then if they understand it well and what it can do for them then they need to deploy training to the business managers. All what I want to say is your leadership should push the initiative and build a SS Infrastructure.
Start off hiring a consultants and then you will have some success. or else it will be your night mare.
    Good Luck

    Dear Amit,
Implementing Six Sigma is very much top management driven.
It appears you are required to advise on what to do to implement six Sigma.
The best first step would be to organize a one-day Executive Overview of Six Sigma to your top management.
Once the commitment is obtained, the roadmap can be drawn which could include Champions Training, Green Belt Training and Black Belt Training. Details can be worked out then.
