0April 20, 2007 at 1:43 pm #155034Hi Reena,
Six Sigma is not yet taken up by regular colleges or institutes for a full fledged certification. The levels depends on your work experience and project handling experience.
For further details, you may search this website or call at +919810427554.
MKS0April 26, 2007 at 6:36 am #155281Hi Reena,
I have undergone Six Sigma Green Belt training from Benchmark Six Sigma. It has helped me tremendously in my career and I have also been able to implement Six Sigma in my organisation and bring benefits. They have excellent faculty members with extensive Six Sigma implementation experience. They also have an active Six Sigma Community of Six Sigma professionals created where one can ask & clarify doubts on Six Sigma after you have undergone training.
They conduct Six Sigma Green Belt & Black Belt training at Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai. They conduct trainings on a regular basis.
You may visit their website http://www.benchmarksixsigma.com for details.
Hope this info is of help!0April 26, 2007 at 6:54 am #155283Thanks Sumit,
I got to know about Bechmark from my friends too. How you rate this institute as compared to TQMI-Motorola University of ASQ (American Society for Quality)?
0April 26, 2007 at 11:36 am #155291You could try AQI or KPMG certification courses. Google them and you’ll get the info.
0April 30, 2007 at 12:44 pm #155478Hi Reena,
Benchmark Six Sigma conducts more training programs then any other six sigma training provider all across India. The other good thing is they are affordable when compared to those conducted by Motorola whose training cost goes into lakhs. So, I feel its actually a good idea to go for Benchmark Six Sigma.

Now you have the idea. Make sure you understand which one is cheapest so you know where to get your certification. I would have to believe that the metric that Benchmark is the cheapest and that they conduct the most classes across India has to have have some kind of cause and effect relationship.
Since those two factors resulted in your decision you are obviously unqualified to recomend even a daycare let alone an educational service. How about some criteria around knowledge transfer of quality of the Black Belts they certify.

I’ll be in the area day after tomorrow. Please tie a red scarf to your post box, so I know where to leave it. If we should fail to meet, I’ll leave an extra copy taped to the traffic signal on the NW side of Bannerjee St. and Highton Rd. -Again, look for the red scarf.0October 7, 2008 at 4:16 pm #176506Man you’ve gotten some mileage out of this HB.
