is it possible that the concept of kaizen is integrated to a six sigma-advocate manufacturing company?

what possibilities that the six sigma-kaizen system presents?

how effective the quality of operation using six sigma alone?
    how about kaizen alone?

too much to ask. too few to answer… can anyone please help?

we are making an undergrad thesis about these TQM concepts. if this succeeds we would be generous to share our findings. B)

Both Six Sigma and Lean fit together nicely in both manufacturing and service companies.

If you look at the three major activities that management completes in any company, you can see how they fit together.

Managing Strategy – Where do we go?

Managing Projects – How do we implement/improve systems or processes?

Managing Processes – How do we execute our value to customers regularly?

Lean/Kaizen does an outstanding job with helping a business Manage Processes.

Six Sigma does an outstanding job with helping a business Manage Projects.

Both help with Managing Strategy, but aren’t the only methodololgies that are needed to do that well.

Feel free to e-mail me further and I can answer your questions directly. [email protected]
