I am new to this site, I have been a quality engineer in the medical field for over 3 years, ASQ CQE, and before that worked mostly with stress analysis (FEA) in the aerospace industry. I believe my statistics skills are not where I’d like them to be, I don’t believe the CQE course gave me the tools I need to justify the practices it teaches, so I’m looking into statistics courses.
One of my current projects is to support implementation of SPC at our company, which is a challenge because I will need to translate the risks into actual number and probabilities for our management to understand why our current practices need to be revamped. My day to day activities are mostly related to validation and qualification of new processes and equipment, doc control and calibration with a little bit of CAPA/NCR here and there.
I’m looking forward to hopefully bring in my two cents.
