I’ve been using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and tools for the past 10+ years in small business ownership, I learned in graduate school and from mentors. I’m transitioning into an employee role to apply my experience and education in Lean/Six Sigma. Also, I’ve moved from Washington DC to Oklahoma City to assist an aging parent. Now I’m consumed with my career search. Last year I completed my Lean/Six Sigma education at Villanova University and was hoping that would increase my marketability.
I enjoy reading the articles and find the dictionary useful for the occasional double check or memory jogger. I welcome any questions or recommendations you may have as I blaze my path forward.

Welcome to iSixSigma, and thanks for joining and posting your introduction.
It looks like you’re motivated and ready to get going with the next phase of your Lean Six Sigma journey! I am excited for you and wish you the best as you move forward.
I don’t have much to recommend besides keep an eye on Lean Six Sigma opportunities in your area, and come back and post if there’s any specific questions you have that the community might be able to help with.
Good luck and best wishes,
Michael0February 4, 2019 at 3:43 pm #236031

Those 3 horizontal bars in the top right corner, click on it and you should get a menu that says Jobs on it. Click Jobs and you are good to go.
If you are cyber challenged like me here are the links https://www.isixsigma.com/jobs/ To post a job it is https://www.isixsigma.com/jobs/candidate-dashboard/my-resume/
You may want to check around before you list who certified you. Some are more credible than others. There was a discussion last week about going from academia to the real world. Robert Butler (@rbutler) gave some really good interview advice. Personally I like the fact that you were a business owner. Just remember unless you are interviewing with another business owner a person running a company that doesn’t own it may see things entirely different than you do.
Good luck.

Kristen HillParticipant@misskristenInclude @misskristen in your post and this person will

Also keep an eye on remote opportunities, not just those in your location!
Good luck,
