Our company has plans to start implementing Six Sigma in 2003. I would like to already inform my salesteam about the basic ideas of Six Sigma. I am reading a book on the subject but it would help if somebody would have a basic Power Point presentation avalaible to start raising interest prior to official steps from top management. Do you know who or where I could find such a presentation. Thanks in advance,Hans van Lier.

Hello Hans,If you send me your e mail I can help you with a set of 5 presentations and a two day workshop.Regards,NirajUpdate: Mr. Niraj Goyal has decided not to post his presentation as it is part of a 2 day executive overview and is difficult to explain without the benefit of the full course. –iSixSigma Community

An email has been sent from iSixSigma to Niraj, the author of the previous post, to request that the presentations be attached to his discussion posting. In addition, this discussion thread has been closed. Why did we close this thread?1. Because many individuals are interested in the presentations and it’s more effective to post the presentations rather than read posting upon posting of requests to send the document(s).2. Unsolicited Commercial E-mail (UCE or “spam”) can occur when users reveal their email addresses in the body of a discussion forum posting. Although iSixSigma asks for an email address to notify you of follow-on messages (if you check the box), we do not reveal your email address to anyone. If you feel the need to reveal it, we suggest that you at least break it up or modify it so automated email harvest programs cannot capture it (for example, myname @ emailhost dot com) but people can easily decipher it.When will the documents be posted? As soon as the documents are supplied by Niraj, they will be attached to the previous posting. We would like to thank – in advance – the openness of Niraj in sharing documents with the worldwide iSixSigma community.Presentation DownloadIn the meantime, here is a Six Sigma introduction presentation that “6 Sigma BB Coordinator” was gracious enough to previously provide: Download: Introduction to Six Sigma [963Kb PowerPoint File]Viewing Tip: Usually, you can click on a link to view the document — it may open within your browser using the application (in this case Microsoft PowerPoint). If you are having difficulty, try right clicking the link and selecting “Save Target As…” or “Save As…” to save it to your computer harddrive. Download: Introduction to Six Sigma [844Kb Zipped File]Note: Due to the size or complexity of this submission, it is also provided as a .zip file to shorten your download time. After downloading it, you will need a program like Winzip to decompress it.Virus Note: All files are scanned prior to uploading to iSixSigma. No prevention program is entirely safe. FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, PLEASE:1) Re-scan downloaded files using your personal virus checker before using it.2) NEVER, EVER run compiled files (.exe’s, .ocx’s, .dll’s etc.).iSixSigma Community
