    Dear All,
I Plan to take up a LSBB Project in a Mutual fund company for which i am working i have done six sigma projects in banking but i am novice in this industry.
It will be great if someone can tell me different areas in this industry where i can take up projects and share some projects if possible.
    Regards,
    DD

Find some managers, define their processes and apply DMAIC.

    Dear Brandon,
Thanks for the reply, well i do understand that i need to do that my question is what area in mutual fund and which process. Just to mention the Mutual fund is in india whre it is highly driven by regulated body hence not much of a scope for improvement, also most of our processes are outsourced. Pls suggest wht to do next.
    Thanks & Regards,

If there is “not much scope for improvement”, then why does your organization need a BB? Rethink your question in terms of where are the primary pain points in the operation that will either grow revenues, reduce costs, or measurably mitigate risks. From a Lean standpoint in a regulated industry, rework to meet regulations is usually fertile ground for improvements.

    Dear Rhineg,
Thanks for posting the reply. More than the organisation it is for my LSBB certification that i intend to take up project. As LSS is new to Mutual fund i was wondering if someone can guide me or share some sample projects. Ur correct but still i would like to try a project. Lets see if i can do it. Take care. Bye
