Any good hands-on books on the topic? I mean not just general overview but a similar approach as in “Learning To See” but strictly applied to a process involving data entry into a data base? Beyond the VSM and waste elimination, can tools like kanban, one piece flow, safety stock and supermarket apply to such a process?

We are a service group and many of the leaders have already commented that this book is very relevant and makes good use of visual management, including kanban and many other tools. It even goes through the needed culture change in how to make your improvement initiative sustainable.

Every process has constraints, you need an approach to logically place that constraint where you want it, and keep it there. It’s an easy read and very insightful. Enjoy.
