    Hya,
I want to introduce Lean/SS in the company where i work. I thought of playing a game with Lego to better show the effects of eliminating waste and “explain” single piece flow.
Do you have a well defined process for a simple lego type game?
    Thanks in advance

Rodders,We conduct a game in our SixSigma training sessions to show the difference in bulk release vs. pull system. (Not lego though)The game has three phases:
Apply Lean Analysis Tools (bulk release)
Apply Lean Improvement Tools (bulk release)
Apply Lean Improvement Tools (no restrictions)You need at least 7 people on each team, total time is about 2hrs (preparation for teams & actual activity). The general idea is to build a simple item to spec, sending through inspection etc and then making gradual improvements to the process while measuring takt time, wip & rework items. Not only do the team members compete like maniacs to get the best time & quality available, but they remember the concept and refer when outlining project ideas.Let me know if you would like further information.Kit

    Here’s a pre-packaged one that we’ve used successfully: http://www.visionaryproducts.biz/

This is probably your best bet.  We have a “home grown” simulation that we are challenged in getting replacement pieces since Lego no longer sells individual pieces but in sets.  You can still build a home-grown sim but you could spend more than you want in building it.
    Good luck, EdG
