    Hello all,

I am looking for load level balancing in a work cell consisting of 8 workstations via Yamzumi charts.

Is application of Yamzaumi charts restricted to one piece flow only? Or can be applied for the Mix Model flow also?

“One piece flow” and “mixed model” are two different concepts.

Load balancing is, of course, easier when you’re producing just a single product. Whether you’re building one product or variations (multiple products), you can built in single-piece flow (as you’d typically see on an assembly line) or there might be small batches for some reason…

    Hi Mark,

So this methodology is only applicable for one piece flow and cannot be applied for mixed models in HVLV environment?
