    I have a lognormal distribution for the duration of a task in minutes.
    Location = 0
    Scale = 0.9643
    Threshold = 0

    If I want to budget an “average” time to the task such that the total time alloted budget will be met in the long run . . . how do I do this?

    I know my current mean is 63.6 minutes, but do not know the confidence of this value.
    How do I get the confidence from MiniTab? + / – for the actual averages.

    Put the data for the tasks into one column and use basic statistics on the column or see if it fits a non-normal distribution and then you can gleam other info.

    You can find the mean and CI of mean of log normal distribution in Minitab going into Stat>Reliability/Survival.

    Using basic statistics and 1-sample “t”
    got it . . .
