I’ve got a smokin good simulation of a fake process which you run 5 times. Each time you run it, you change one thing (in line with Lean principles). You have process metrics set up so that you can see the effect of the change that you made.
It’s a good exercise to go through with future team members/event participants.
This is a fairly old post so I dont know if you are still looking for something

I too am in a similar position as to having to find a way to get our new LSS project teams up to speed more quickly in utilizing the DMAIC methodology. I also have a group of physicians (20) whom I need to further enlighten on this methodology.
If you wouldn’t mind sharing your “smokin good simulation” it would be most appreciated.
Mike0May 8, 2009 at 3:12 pm #62395Sure. What’s your e-mail adress?

Would you be able to send me your smoking simulation and in return I could send you a catapult simulation that we use to introduce people to Six Sigma.
Thanks
