    Hi all,
I have recently read Davis Bothe about “undertanding Six Sigma Philosophy” in the book Measuring Process Capability, my question is how much Davis descriptions differ from Mikel Harry Book about “Resolving the Mysteries of Six Sigma” wich i haven’t studied.
Can somebody explain me this different or similitude, yes the core is about the Process Shift, and do “you” recommend to follow
    thanks in advance

Jorge,I recommend you read the book “Machine/Process Capability Study” by Mario Perez-Wilson (http://mpcps.com/BOK0.html). This explains all about implementing 6sigma in a manufacturing process and is the real thing how 6sigma was implemented in Motorola.Let me know what you thing about it.

Use KISS technique (keep it simple and stupid)
i think, this doesn’t have an statistical explication,
Bill Smith creates shift but he didn’t use any mathematical or statistical base to support his idea, just experience in the processes of him, he suggest this like a margin of reference
