for Gage R&R Crossed(Variable study)1) what is the ideal alpha value to be entered under the options column to remove the interaction term from the model? This is with refernce to ANOVA method.
2)Can anybody explain the reasoning behind alpha option?what is the default?
3)Again in the Process tolerance option what does this mean?does it mean if USL=23.1, LSL=22.5 process tolerance=0.6?
It would be of great help if somebody can answer the above questions
Thanks
Tommy

MiniTab has an excellent help menu and even better online technical support. I suggest you use it.

be notified via email. The default alpha to remove is 0.25. This reduces the beta risk, but I prefer to use 0.1, which is the default used in another software tool.
Q3. Yes.
