I am working on a project trying to maintain a 10 business day cyle time, and was hoping that someone may know how to make minitab count business days, instead of just days.  Right now, I am having to count business days on my own (actually using a business day calculator) but was hoping to find a way for Minitab to do it for me.
I have played around in Minitab and I am not fed up…. anyone know how to do this?

If by a business day you mean 8:00-5:00, then it is a mute point. However, if you mean M-F, you will have to subtract the weekends out (though I do not recommend this because the customer is still waiting those days to). If you are simply trying to determine the days between the start and finish of a cycle, then format you start time and finish time columns in Minitab as “mm/dd/yyyy” or “mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss” in the EDIT>FORMAT COLUMN> menus. Then subtract the start date/time from the finish date/time using the calculator. I might be WAY off target, but hope this helps.
