I’ve been analysing some non parametric data in mini tab using Moods Median testing however I was looking for a graphical output that was easier to read than that included in the test output itself.
I was trying to use a boxplot or interval plot, does anyone know how to use these outputs for medians?
I’ve googled the topic with no success.
Thanks
Chris

From my understanding, Nonparametric tests are used for non-normal data- so I assume you first checked for normality and randomness- I won’t go into that process here.
Type of nonparametric testing (and subsequent graphs) depends on your data, comparing:
*1 sample vs. target – use Wilcoxon test
*2 population medians- use the Mann-Whitney test
*population meadians for multiple groups- use teh Krausak-Wallace testfor Minitab use Stats>Nonparametric> XXXXXX test later…graph>probability plot
Hope this helps,
Joe Johnson
